Volunteering

Be the change you want to see in the world

“How wonderful it is that no one needs to wait a
single moment to start to improve the world”
–Anne Frank

If you have a genuine love of children, and a desire to help create a more peaceful world, we urge you to join us as PACT volunteers. Our minimum age for volunteering is 17, and maximum age is only limited by your ability to enjoy travel and camp activities! Over the years folks of all ages including doctors, lawyers, businessmen, teachers, college and high students, artists, musicians, social workers, peace activists, and marine researcher have served as volunteers with PACT.

You will meet people from different regions, faiths and cultures. An open mind, a loving heart and a helping hand are necessary prerequisites. We promise you a life-changing experience!

Volunteers travel on their own to a central meeting point, where they participate in an initial orientation and training as they meet and get to know the other volunteers. Once the children arrive, camp activities take precedence, but regular opportunities exist for further

training and problem solving. After camp, many volunteers take the opportunity to explore the region with new friends.
